Project goals:
Increasing the design speed up to 160 km/h, upgrading by subsystems and achieving interoperability.
Scope of activities:
Design and build contract for the following activities in the design phase:
- Research and analysis of the preliminary design;
- Technical design for modernization;
- Detailed design for modernization;
- Author’s supervision and as-built documentation;
As a subcontractor of PORR Bau GmbH for designing activities in a design and build contract, Transgeo Ltd has carried out overall management of the design process as well as coordination and performance of the design activities.
Highlights:
- Design and build of 1 station and 2 halts, including repair works/construction of premises for telecommunication equipment at Todor Kableshkov station;
- Design and build of electrification of the railway infrastructure and connection of the systems of the catenary;
- Complete modernization of traction substation Proslav with the construction of new transformer installations, a technical building and adjacent facilities;
- Design and removal / reconstruction of intersections with technical infrastructure that are affected in any way by the construction;
- Design and build of noise barriers in the urban areas;
- Project for a new overpass at the site of an existing level-crossing in the area of Todor Kableshkov station.
